Versatile tire for all adventures

I've been riding the Schwalbe G-One Allround on my gravel bike for months now, and it's fantastic. Great grip on mixed terrain, rolls smoothly on pavement, and holds up well in wet conditions. Highly recommend for anyone into bikepacking or long rides.

solid performer but a bit heavy

These tires are reliable for gravel and light trails. They provide good traction and puncture resistance, but I notice they're heavier than some competitors, which affects speed on roads. Still, worth it for the durability.

Best Gravel Tire Out There

Switched to G-One Allround and never looked back. Excellent balance of speed and off-road capability. Used them on a 200km ride through varied terrain—no flats, no issues. Schwalbe nailed it with this one.

Decent but wears quickly

Okay for casual gravel rides, but the tread seems to wear out faster than expected after about 800km. Grip is fine in dry, but slips a little in mud. Not bad, just not exceptional.

Amazing all-rounder for commuters

As a daily commuter mixing city streets and bike paths, these tires are perfect. Low rolling resistance on asphalt, yet confident handling on gravel sections. Puncture protection has saved me twice already.

Great traction, minor noise

Love how they handle corners on loose surfaces. Installed on my cyclocross bike and it's transformed my rides. Only downside is a slight hum on smooth roads, but nothing major. Solid choice overall.

Reliable and fast

These tires exceeded my expectations. Fast on roads, grippy on dirt, and super durable. Rode through rocky paths without a hitch. If you're into adventure cycling, get these now.

Good for mixed use

Versatile enough for my road-to-gravel routes. Comfortable ride and good wet performance. Would prefer lighter weight for climbing, but they perform well in most scenarios. Satisfied customer.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Schwalbe G-One Allround is a versatile gravel tire engineered for all-round performance on mixed surfaces, including roads, light gravel paths, and trails. It offers a balance of speed, grip, and comfort, making it ideal for adventure riding, commuting, or bikepacking. Riders appreciate its ability to handle varied terrains without sacrificing efficiency.

Yes, the Schwalbe G-One Allround is tubeless-ready, allowing for easy installation with compatible rims and sealants for reduced rolling resistance and better puncture protection. This setup enhances ride comfort by enabling lower tire pressures without risking pinch flats. It's a popular choice for gravel enthusiasts seeking a hassle-free, maintenance-light experience.

On gravel, the G-One Allround provides excellent traction thanks to its micro-knob tread pattern that bites into loose surfaces while maintaining stability. It rolls smoothly over hardpack and offers predictable handling during cornering or descents. This makes it a reliable option for riders exploring unpaved routes without needing specialized off-road tires.

The tire features Schwalbe's SnakeSkin sidewall for robust puncture resistance against sidewall cuts and thorns, paired with a durable compound that withstands everyday debris. While not the heaviest-duty option, it strikes a good balance between protection and low weight for extended rides. Regular use with tubeless sealant further boosts its reliability on rough paths.

Absolutely, the G-One Allround works well on road bikes for those wanting to venture onto light gravel or mixed routes, thanks to its low-profile tread that minimizes drag on pavement. It provides a comfortable ride with good vibration damping compared to slick road tires. For pure road racing, a dedicated slick might be faster, but this tire adds versatility without much compromise.

The G-One Allround has impressively low rolling resistance for a gravel tire, allowing efficient pedaling on roads and smoother trails due to its optimized tread and compound. This efficiency helps conserve energy over long distances, making it suitable for endurance rides. Riders often note it feels nearly as fast as road tires while offering superior grip off-pavement.

The Schwalbe G-One Allround comes in various widths, typically ranging from 38mm to 50mm, to fit different rim sizes and riding styles. Narrower options suit faster road-gravel hybrids, while wider ones provide more volume for comfort on rougher terrain. Choosing the right width depends on your bike's clearance and personal preference for speed versus cushioning.

Yes, the G-One Allround performs well in wet weather with its siping and compound that enhance water dispersion and grip on damp roads or mud. It maintains control during rain showers, reducing the risk of slips on slick surfaces. For extreme mud, a more aggressive tire might be better, but this one offers solid all-weather reliability for most conditions.
