The Goodyear Connector is a versatile tubeless-ready cycling tire designed for gravel and mixed-terrain adventures. Featuring a durable 120 TPI casing and aggressive tread pattern with widely spaced knobs, it delivers exceptional traction on loose surfaces like dirt, mud, and gravel while maintaining stability on pavement. Its SkinShield technology enhances puncture resistance without adding bulk, ensuring reliable performance over long rides. Riders praise its balanced grip and low rolling resistance for all-day comfort, making it ideal for bikepacking, commuting, or exploratory gravel routes. On the downside, it may feel slightly sluggish on pure road sections compared to slicks. Offering great value for multi-surface enthusiasts, it's a dependable choice for versatile cycling.
I've been riding the Goodyear Connectors for months now on my gravel bike, and they handle everything from smooth pavement to rocky paths without slipping. Puncture resistance is top-notch; only one flat in 500 miles. Highly recommend for adventurous riders.
Good tires overall for commuting and light trails. They roll smoothly and provide decent traction, but I noticed quicker wear on the rear after 800km. Still, better than my previous setup.
Switched to these and instantly felt the difference in cornering and mud clearance. Super durable and quiet on the road too. Worth every penny.
They do the job on dry roads but struggle in wet conditions with some sliding. Punctures happened more often than expected. Not bad, but I've had better.
