The Schwalbe Hans Dampf is a versatile all-mountain tyre designed for aggressive trail and enduro riding. Featuring the grippy Addix Soft compound and a TrailStar carcass, it delivers exceptional traction on loose, rocky, and rooty terrain, with deep, widely spaced lugs that shed mud effectively. Its SnakeSkin sidewall provides robust puncture protection, while the tubeless-ready design enhances ride quality and lowers rolling resistance for efficient pedaling on climbs. Ideal for technical descents and mixed conditions, it excels in demanding environments but may feel slightly heavier and slower on smooth hardpack. Offering outstanding value for durability and performance, it's a go-to for serious MTB enthusiasts.
These tires stick like glue in corners. Love them for aggressive trail riding!
Excellent traction in mud and dry conditions, but they don't last as long as I'd hoped on rocky terrain. Still a solid performer overall.
I've tried many tires over the years, but the Hans Dampf stands out for enduro and downhill. Superb braking power, acceleration grip, and it rolls surprisingly well despite the aggressive knobs. No punctures in months of hard use—highly recommend for serious riders.
Perfect for my trail bike. No complaints at all.
Handles wet roots and loose gravel like a champ, but it's a bit noisy on pavement sections. Good value for the grip you get.
As a weekend warrior tackling local singletracks, the Hans Dampf has completely changed my riding experience. The Addix compound strikes the perfect balance between speed, grip, and durability—I've got way more confidence bombing through technical descents without slipping. Installed a set last month and they're already proving their worth in varied weather.
Tough as nails with excellent traction. 5 stars all the way.
